Nutramar Live Phytoplankton: Nanno – 16.9oz
$16.99
Nutramar Live Phytoplankton offers among the most nutrient-dense live food. Nanno contains high amounts of proteins, vitamins, omega-3 fatty acid EPA, and other phytonutrients necessary for stable growth in a marine ecosystem. Nanno not only provides and enriches a stable nutritional base for marine aquariums, but is also ideal for filter feeders that require a small micron size; such as many non-photosynthetic corals like sun corals, gorgonians and sea fans. Nanno also provides food for microfauna, such as amphipods and copepods, which in turn can feed larger organisms, such as fish and coral. Nanno is one of the best choices for culturing nutrient-rich rotifers for rearing larval fish.
Dosage:
The recommended dose is 15-30ml per 50 gallons, once a day. Turn off protein skimmers for 30-45 minutes while feeding. For target feeding, or to maximize feeding opportunities for corals and invertebrates, turn off circulation pumps while dosing. More densely stocked tanks may benefit from more frequent feedings.

Nutramar Tigrio Live Pods 4oz
$19.99
Nutramar Tigrio is a packaged culture of living Tigriopus sp. copepods. These copepods are an excellent source of nutrients for your marine aquarium inhabitants as they contain protein and essential unsaturated fatty acids. They populate in the home aquarium and will act as detritivores, breaking down excess food and waste.
Each bottle of Nutramar Tigrio is cultured in-house to provide the upmost quality and nutrition. The copepods erratic swimming motion will tempt many finicky fishes to begin feeding eagerly. This is an excellent food for filter feeding corals and other invertebrates. Nutramar Tigrio is cultured in purified and ozonized saltwater in a controlled environment.
Feeding:
Acclimate the copepods by floating the bottle for 10 mins in your aquarium. You may safely add the entire contents of the bottle into the aquarium. If you are attempting to seed a lasting population, it is best to dim or turn off lights and pumps for 5 - 10 minutes, so the crustaceans can settle into protected locations. Dosing phytoplankton, such as Nutramar CRIT, IC, Nanno and TC, will help ensure the population has plenty of nutrients to thrive.
Storage:
Nutramar Tigrio should be stored at a consistent temperature below 75F, and out of direct sunlight. This will prevent harmful temperature fluctuations and algae growth. Oxygen is consumed by the living copepods, and so it is recommended leave the cap open during storage. For long-term storage, it is recommended that Nutramar Tigrio be refrigerated between 40-50F.
